Listening to Today in iPhone: Item #86.
The most popular moisture damage to the iPhone is the urinal drop.
Wow, that's like my biggest fear. Seriously. I drop everything into the toilet. Toilet paper rolls. Hairbrushes. Lipstick. I even fell into a toilet once. Granted, I was drunk but still. I wasn't even trying to use the bathroom. I just gracefully fell. Okay, maybe not so gracefully.
Second biggest fear would be seeing my iPhone fly out of my hands and out the car window. I don't use my phone while I drive. I'm so paranoid; I won't even use my earpiece. If I'm a passenger and the windows are open, I won't even take my phone out of my purse. This deep fear stems from my childhood when I threw my favorite toy out of my parent's car window.
The last fear I have is dropping my phone and seeing, in slow motion, it smash into a million pieces. This is why I don't let anyone hold/touch/use/lick/molest my phone. This phone is my baby and you don't let a baby slam head-first into the floor. You break your arm and maybe a couple of fingers trying to protect the baby. That's how my phone should be treated.

Oh that would be Transformers. It was a little long winded. No wait, I thought the movie was needlessly long. There were a number of scenes that seemed to be just added junk with no plot movement and no value to character development. Some of the 'action' could have been cut back too.
Besides the length, I thought it was an entertaining movie. Would I watch it again? Yes. Would I buy it? No. I definitely recommend people to check it out though.
As an added sidenote, I thought the new Terminator was much better than Transformers.
Next on the list to see... G.I. Joe and Harry Potter.
I will not babysit again unless the following conditions are met:
- he must be able to use the bathroom. Without my assistance.
- he must be able to feed himself as well as cook his own meal.
- if he can't cook, it's acceptable for him to order take out.
- he must be able to play video games or entertain himself in some fashion.
- he must not depend on me in anyway, shape, or form.
I think I'm half insane right now.

So I joined Shelfari. I tried it once before but it never took. Now I'm hooked.
I'm tired of having to adjust all my social and blogging sites with updated book and reading list. I read fairly quickly. On average, I go through about four to six books a month. I like Safari because I can just link to my profile page and it brings up all the books I've read, currently reading, want to read, reviews, ratings, etc. It's pretty cool.

I've sort of been stressing. I think I'm just stressing over things that are done and over. I really shouldn't dwell on things especially since going over and over again in my head isn't going to change anything or solve all my woes or keep me from writing run-on sentences.
Some of it is my fault. Some of it isn't my fault. Some of it is just not anyone's fault.
I sprained my wrist. Hurt my back. Had to reschedule several appointments and commitments because I trusted the wrong person. Had a fall out with a friend. My fault because I'm stubborn. Her fault for being unreliable. Haven't combed my hair in two days because it hurts to hold a brush. My complexion is irritated, red, peeling, and sometimes burning because of my new medication. Also just realized my inspection sticker is expired and, yes, there is more... my lights aren't working.
What really pisses me off... I lost my pencil sharpener. No, you don't know! I really don't like pens. I avoid them like the plague.
So I went to Walmart. Found a bunch of things I wasn't looking for... like more pencils, 2 for $1 juices, printer ink, hair products, etc. Guess what I didn't find? Yep so I only took the juices.
In the words of my wise brother-in-law, "You need a vacation. Like, a real vacation."
Now, I must get back to the studying I couldn't finish earlier because my sick nephew kept crying every ten to twenty minutes for three hours straight.

I can't believe I just paid $4 for a hotdog and a can of coke. Seriously. It wasn't even that good. I forced myself to eat it because I paid $4 for it. That's one of several things I don't like about living in Rochester. That and you can't get a decent slice of pizza either. I found one place that was kinda alright but they charge $4 for a slice. Ugh!
I'm working on getting some new icons because it's been ages since I've updated those.

So I just got around now to playing Resident Evil Outbreak. I found it for $8 and figured 'why the hell not?'
It's kinda hard. Like really. Maybe that's the source of my headache.

I try to plan things out. I really do but I fail miserably. In the end, I'm spontaneous and then everything spontaneously blows up. It's kinda funny. I should just quit planning shit.
In other news, I have one bitchin' headache.... since yesterday morning! Haha, I think I'm going to explode.
Today is Earth Hour.
Between 8:30PM and 9:30 PM, participants will be shutting off non-essential lighting to show their support for action on climate change. It's as simple as just turning your lights off.
For one hour of your life, you can make a difference.

OMG. I just cracked/chipped my tooth! It happened tonight while I was flossing my teeth. It doesn't hurt... so it's not something major. I have an emergency appointment with the dentist tomorrow... but seriously. This always happens to me. Crazy and weird medical stuff just haunts me.
Yeah, I also just got my hospital bill from when I was in lock down earlier this month. It's not even $50. Not bad considering my insurance covered almost $8000 of my incarceration.
I refused my last prescription from the doctor. The co-pay for only a five-day supply was $95!! I only use 7500units per injection. This prescription was for 11000units per injection. Why am I going to pay the extra money when I'm just going to drain out the extra units? Besides the 75 has only a $55 co-pay.
I just hate the idea that we live in society where we have to pay money for medicine and medical test and procedures that are vital, for some, to continue living. Whatever. I'm done with this topic.

I hate waiting rooms. It's like i'm slowely losing my mind. Seriously.
The funny part...
I was one of the first ones here this morning and I'm still waiting. They're only calling patients once every twenty minutes or so.
I'm going to walk out. I swear.

Apparently, the pen really is mightier than the sword!
Okay, bad joke. But really! Romo Lampkin is the man. Him and his pen of d00m.
So it's been a while since I've fan-raved on my LJ. And it's been an especially long time since I've said anything about BSG but OMG, I am totally loving this season.
First off... mad props for my man Romo Lampkin and his deadly and lethal pen. I want a Romo/deadly pen icon like right now. Oh and when he was about to bounce on Kara and her bleeding-to-death husband... he just gave in like the way any rotten selfish-bastard who still had a heart would and helped them.
Roslin was as fabulous as always. It's good to see her stand up and take control compared to her... um laziness she had the last few episodes. She had just seem to give up on almost everything and when the shit hit the fan, she was prepared to burn the whole house down.
I loved the whole coup plotline. Gaeta and his mutiny. Gaeta taking command of the military. Zarek overstepping his position and becoming a tyrant to the fleet. Zarek assassinating the top political officials in the fleet. Cylons giving sanctuary to Roslin. Turning what's left of the human race against each other because in the end when the war is over... humans would rather hold on to their hate and damn their enemies than forgive and accept.
All in all. Just a fabulous episode. My favorite one of the season yet.

So it's Saturday night. Guess where I was? Yes, I almost always close at my home store on Saturday nights. It was not... uneventful. Saturday's are pretty interesting. I work in a high volume/traffic store and if it's Saturday during the months of November and December, then it does get a little intense during these days. Not only do we bring in big money, but we always see rather interesting characters in our shop and especially at night.
Here are a couple of tips to keep in mind while doing your holiday shopping. Please note, this list may not be perfect but it's one step closer to helping you keep your sanity. This also helps reduce your wait time on register and helps reduce pressure on associates.

And then I spent an additional $50 on a couple of bottles of wine.
Let it be known I can't ever be accused of starving my friends and family.

Let's talk Heroes.
I used to be a die-hard fan until all the character assassination and lame stagnant plots of season three happened. Important main characters where turned into a shadow of themselves who did nothing. And to make matters worse, cannon that was established in the first season is being magically rewritten in this third season. I'm just tired of it. I don't even see the point in watching it anymore if the very cannonical reasons I fell in love with the show are being ignored.
I'm not surprised the executive producers where fired for bad writing after seeing what is happening this season.
In other news, I've been playing FFXII like an addict. I'm addicted to the LP system. Maybe a little too much. I just have to get LP to get those boards maxed out. I find myself running around and doing battles just for the hell of it because I need to have those LPs to master the whole board. Almost all of my characters have the top board maxed out completely. Now I have to continue with the weapons and armor board.

Well I'm going to be honest here. I am not going to be anywhere near a bar that does not cater to a smoker's needs. There are a couple of places up here that have porches designed to block out the wind/rain/snow. One of my favorite places here, have outdoor dining during the warmer months and a special window/bar where you can order your drinks.
Not smoking in bars and restaurants did irk me at first until I saw there were places that accommodated those needs and made the whole experience fabulous. During the colder months, it's a bit more difficult do to the extreme cold and snow we have. But I never have trouble finding a place where I can bring my drink outside, sit down, and enjoy my smoke without being bombarded with snow or rain.
Anti-smoking laws are just as effective as anti-choice laws. Even if anti supporters had there way, there would still be abortions and smoking.
When I first read about fighting sperm... I was all like WTF? Apparently, there is fighting sperm meant to fight off other male sperm. Whatever.
Regardless of who wins, can't fight an IUD motherfucker! That's what I have to say on that subject.
